Delivery to the customer the repaired tram nº 258 to Edinburgh
On July 6th of 2020, the repaired tram number 258 leaves the Tradinsa facilities towards Edinburgh to deliver it to the customer Edinburgh Tram.
The Edinburgh tram consists of 7 cars (E, D, G, F, C, B, A), however only the cars E, D, G, F, C are damaged.
The main work carried out are:
- 3D scan of carbody, underframe and bogie frame
- Head Removal from Car E (Cab)
- Car E (Cab) Composite Cell Repair
- Replacing the glass, fairings, headlights and windshield wipers of car E (cabin)
- Repair of turning stops and supports in the underframe area of cars with bogie
- Repair and / or replace skirts and fairings according to damage
- Repair and / or replace according to the damage the end caps on the cars
- End cap and Underframe Weld Repair Procedures
- Review of frame of bogies and mounted bridges
- Replacement of bogie bumpers
- Replacement of tire treads
- Exterior painted
